ABOUT ME
My name is Angela Antonicelli.
I am an Italian translator and proofreader.
I have a Master’s Degree in Foreign Languages for International Communication and I have been working as a translator since 2008. I translate from German, English and Portuguese into Italian, my mother tongue.
I was born in Puglia, Italy and have lived in several Italian cities, as well as in Ireland, Brazil and Germany. I settled here, in Berlin, in 2010.
Work experience
Besides working as a translator, I have worked in a number of other positions, and this has given me the opportunity to better understand online marketing (from offline to online Marketing, from SEO to SEA to CRM), international cooperation, education, communication company and – last but not least, the management of translation and interpreting projects and consequently improve my knowledge and specialized terminology in these fields.

Values and passions
I believe that every human being on this planet is co-responsible for what happens here. Each human being is an integral part of a continuous evolutionary process. This will only lead to the extinction of the human race and the planet we live on, if we choose unsustainable forms of coexistence. To stop this process, I think it is necessary to start with the human being. If we are not able to take care of ourselves, our minds, bodies and souls, then we can hardly take care of other living beings and our planet. I believe that sustainability should start from here. I practice sports, yoga and meditation, I like getting in touch with nature as many times as possible (even though I live in a concrete jungle), reading and enlightening myself on the different aspects of sustainability. I try to change step by step every day, starting from my bad habits,the destructive trend taken by the technological and social development in the last few centuries.
